Edinburgh to Inverness- at Inverness for 2 overnights)
April 6 - Raining - pass the toll just before the River Forth - wide river and the old Mall Bridge (cantelevered) our road bridge is a suspension bridge. County of Fife. Drive through Cupar, Perth, Dundee and on to St. Andrews (Golf and University). Next stop - Blair Atholl, the castle of the Murray Clan, and lunch. Then a quick stop at the "Discovery" ship. We stop at a Distillery, and then at Culloden Battleground where Bonnie Prince Charlie was defeated in 1746. Back to our nice hotel and dinner. (no haggis) Was a rainy day with much history and no time for photos.
