2012 Model T Days Rally

This is the annual Barney Oldfield Memorial Model T run on June 17, Father's day, sponsored by Rob Oldfield, at the Prospect Lake Community Hall. We have breakfast of coffee, fruit juice, doughnuts, usually provided by the Collins and helpers. The cars are numbered as they come into the parking lot. The run this year is organized by Rocky, Bruce and Brenda. The table with trophies and prizes is set up. Bets are taken as to which car with driver and navigators might be the winner. The winner of this year's meet will be the organizers for next year and will take the giant trophy home for the year.
from the old album of 22/06/2012: On Father's Day the cars from Vancouver Island, B.C. hold the Barney Oldfield Memorial Model T Ford meet sponsored by Rob Oldfield. This commerates the run for parts with Model Ts from Oldfield's service station in Saanich to a downtown Victoria parts supplier. Over the years this became a race against the clock with the right answers to questions on the rally.
