This is the milkweed that grows in the cutting garden. It is attrective to all butterflies, but is not the kind that the larvae of monarch butterflies in our area need for feeding on the leaves. I will need to do yet another album on my attempt to grow milkweed for monarchs. The monarchs are said to be non-existant on our island, but hopefully I can give them a start up in the next few years.
