The Irish heater in the back garden next to the germander and tall bearded irises

In 2016 this germander was cut right back to the ground as it was very straggly. It has grown up as nice compact bun like clumps. The firethorn needs further pruning attention, now. The birds enjoy the berries in winter, so I won't cut it back too severely.
