This photo is from 2011. I established this stepping stone path in the lower part of the back garden because the grass that grew here was like a bog in winter and impossble to walk upon. Since then the corsican mint and some thyme is filling in around the stones. The mint is heavenly scented when crushed. I need to be diligent about keeping this path weeded and clean. This path leads to the stone path that runs just beneath the apple tree and its grass over to the entry way to the old veggie patch or into the water garden/Japanese garden area.
