This photo shows the thyme coming into bloom. There are several different colors of thyme in the 7 ft. diameter circle. I keep it weeded and the edging attended too. The bees used to cover this thyme when it was in bloom. In more recent years, since about 2009 to now (2013) the bees have been reduced to a mere dozen. I can count them now. I wonder if people in our neighborhood are using more chemicals.
