Flowering quince (Chaenomeles speciosa) is a multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with a somewhat messy growth habit but beautiful red, orange, flower Color. It grows by the David Austin roses under the sweet gum tree. I am trying to prune to a nice shape and size. It blooms on older wood.
