Robins are always welcome in my garden. Our robins do not migrate, but stay here year round as do the anna's humming birds. I would see the robins eating firethorn berries on Christmas day. I have had the firethorn taken down as it was getting too big to manage, but it is growing again. They have had to make do with the holly berries.
