Irish Heather

This Irish Heather grows in front of the ugly water meter, with another heather behind the meter. This water meter is just next to the magnolia tree. This bed has undergone some renovation this year, with the removal of a big birds nest spruce tree that had grown far too big for its space. The back heather also got pruned back. I improved the soil a bit in the area and have had annuals growing there. I think I will move the pink pots into the area and try to get hollyhocks to grow near the cement meter in the lime soil.
