When we first moved into our home, these little frogs were very vocal and loud at night and early morning. Then more developement started at the end of the block, next to the river. The frogs disappeared. Last year I thought I heard a sole frog on a few occasions, but this past summer I had bull frogs in my pond. So, I can see where these little frogs are going to have a tough time making a come back in our area. I found this one by the pond at the Saanich Artifacts.
