Step 20 - We took down the plum tree in January 2018. This photo of June 9, 2020 shows very little moss. Perhaps, since the pond is no longer shaded from the plum tree, the moss no longer grows so well. Also, some time in the previous year the rocks on the waterfall were pushed into the pond, by animals, or by the 2 legged animals from next door that I call the Pees. Even the Mermaid took a dip in the pond. Since March of 2020 and the coronavirus, the Pees have been staying off my propery. Except for cigarette butts thrown in the garden continually. As at December 10th, I have the waterfall rocks set up quite nicely and they have not been disturbed. I have started the moss growing again. Hopefully, I will be able to get some plants growing among the waterfall rocks again, too. As I type this I am contemplating getting a plastic spill way for the water fall. The one I saw on ebay might cost apx. $80. I will need its dimensions so as to get some slate to hide it. It looks very nice in the photo. If I position it right, there should be no more worries of losing water to waterfall leaks.
