Page 3 contains photos of the fruits and vegetables from 2014 to 2018. I was digging
over the garden and adding compost, mulching with leaves in the winter, and grass clippings
in the summer. the yellow plum tree was removed in the end of 2017. We had a huge crop
of golden delicious Apples in November of 2018. Pat was peeling the apples for making
apple sauce. The fig tree and the grapes are harvested in August in 2019. The herbs are
on going in what has become the Cutting Garden. There is Rosemary, Oregano, Sage,
Chives, Garlic Chives, and hopefully Hyssop to be planted in 2025. The rhubarb was not
producing much rhubarb and was moved to its final growing space behind the old garage
in the Woodland area sometime in 2023 and is now gettting established. I hope to be able
to harvest some in 2025 for a rhubarb and strawberry pie. yellow plums - in May 2015.

arbutus (Strawberry Tree) by the fig tree and pruning fig tree and the apple tree.

- I am slowly getting the apples harvested with some to friends and
relatives and the very worst of the culls for the deer. I have quite a lot of apple sauce, a box
half full in cold storage and we will be starting to eat our second heaped up apple pie today.
October harvest 2014. - The apple tree is loaded with apples this year. I have harvested about
half of them. About 1/3 of the culls go to apples sauce, another 1/3 to cold storage and the
really bad ones go to the deer out in the park. They seem to disappear out there. I have some
help in harvesting the apples from the Flicker. purple plum tree - tree in bloom in April 2014.

Pat did a fine pruning job on the Apple tree two years ago. It is now full of blossoms. Apple tree

- in March of 2016. Strawberries and Rhubarb - in March of 2016. The rhubarb is the
most pathetic rhubarb I have ever seen. The stocks are spindly and thin and are dying. Apples,

- On April 8, 2016 the apple tree was in full bloom. We now have
a good crop of apples showing. Pat pruned this fruit tree last year and there were very few
apples. This year will be an abundant crop. My fruit trees produce heavily every second year.
Fig Lettuce - in May of 2016 Apples, Figs,Grapes - in September of 2016. - 2nd crop of figs
- The figs, at the end of September, 2016 were just starting to ripen. This is the second crop
that does not usually ripen before they freeze. Ripe fig - One of the figs in the beginning
of October. We had a quite a few fresh figs. The second crop kept ripening on into November.
Starting the Cutting Garden - still have strawberries herbs growing in this area. This post
should be called Trouble in Paradise. yellow plum tree - removed by Davey Tree in January
2018. It was diseased and we were not using the fruit much any longer. stump from the old

taken out in January of 2018. Apples - in October of 2018. The apple tree is loaded
with apples this year. I am making apple sauce and we have had a pie, given some away to
friends and still have more to process or give away. harvesting apples and raking leaves - in

the apples in no time with his apple peeler purchased at Lee Valley. We made up several cups
