Fruits and Vegetables

Page 4 contains photos of the rhubarb growing behind the old garage and improving over the
years, the new tree well under the purple plums. We had a huge crop of purple plums in 2023
and made some delicious asian plum sauce, pies and still have some left for making a pie or
more asian plum sauce as of November 2024. Page 4 shows some of the herbs, the lettuce pot
on the deck, some parsley, basil and garlic chives on the deck, an old photo of the Saskatoon
berry tree in bloom in the woodland. We never seem to get any Saskatoons, as the birds probably
get to them before we do. It shows the pruned fig tree and the grape vine pruned after harvesting
the grapes in 2024. The veggie patch has become the cutting garden in recent years, and the
strawberry patch has been reduced in size. It was all renovated, weeded, mulched in the summer

has more photos from 2022, 2023 and 2024. I have not been posting to my blog very much in
recent years as I am so busy with my web page, etc.
