photo of the cedar hedge in 2017. This tall cedar hedge grows as a privacy screen from the patio area by the old garage up to the mountain ash tree in the driveway strip garden room. It is being destroyed by the rental tenants from Syria who seem to be running an autobody repair business. There is all kinds of auto parts leaning against the hedge and trashing it. They power wash the debris into the storm drain and on into the Colquitz river across the street. Saanich and the Dept. of Fisheries are currently doing a major repair to a sewer line that runs under the river. I do hope the Dept. of Fisheries notices the quality of the water when they get finished the repair.
