Stone path in the front garden

This photo shows the stone path that leads into the inner garden at the front. This photo was taken shortly after the path had a renovation, in 2010. The thyme and Corsican mint are now (2017) getting established between the stepping stones. I can see where the spot in front of the David might be a good spot for some nasturtiums this year. There is a decorative oregano falling over the edging stones of the path. Its a lovely, tough perennial, in bloom in the autumn.
