This shows a few views of the JAPANESE lantern. It is slowly growing some patina. I consider the area under the deck as part of the Japanese garden. It is shaded and has ferns, hosta, solomon's seal, etc, with fine foliage and heavier foliage to balance. The half barrel is in the front garden, but I thought this photo of it has a slightly Japanese look to it, so I included it.
