Page 9
This page shows a photo of the little pendula willow in the spring with its pussy willows and red bark. I hope to get the time to prune this lovely little plant that is next to the waterfall, with its roots stretching into the pond, backed by the mermaid and the yew hedge/entry into the cutting garden. There is an overview of the pond while renovating the stepping stones past the rhodos and polyanthus. The purple hellebore was removed to under the deck because it was taking over the rhodos space. The new little rhodo that grows next to the steps to the deck is doing very well. It will soon dwarf the seahorse and provide year around privacy to this area of the patio. I removed a very tall camillia from this spot because it was too close to the kitchen window and its blossoms would go brown as soon as any rain touched them.
