Page 2 shows the original plants and edging. The original edging uses some wooden blocks. I might get back to this to break up the stone 'necklace look'. The pond had some very good water lillies. Since I have taken out the plum tree the pond gets more light. But the water hawthorn looks good and blooms almost all year, so I may not get any water lillies, again. The hawthorn is in bloom now, on December 20, 2020. Once I get the new pond spillway set up, I will try to get some nice alpine plants growing in the waterfall mountain. The sedums and semperviums are easy. The little veronica looks good in the old planting. I plan to try to make a crevice garden.
The Japanese Iris – Kaempferi – unnamed white and Kaempferi – beni botan - royal purple, both survive and have spread. I have moved them around to all the water features.
