2005 Danube River Cruise

Day 25, November 15, 2005 - Bucharest to home
We leave the hotel at 3:45 in our lemo to the airport. We catch our KLM to Amsterdam and then to Vancouver, with our short flight to Victoria. Arrive in good time. Patrick has to see the doctor and gets medication for his infected sinuses and anti-biotics for his stomach. I am ok and just need sleep, even if it is the middle of the day.
Aside from the flu and colds going around the group on the Ship, it has been a wonderful trip. Scrumptious food, excellent services and good Tour Director. Almost all of the local guides were good. One or two duds, but quite a few memorable ones. For instance, one of the guides from the Romania buses has sent Pat his Romanian auto decal that he could not find in any of the shops. Maria has re-imbursed us through Trafalgar for our taxi to the airport in Bucharest. Very good trip.
